Matt Barnes -- Owner/General Manager. I was born and raised in Carroll County and thought an American V-Twin store was needed here. Prior to opening the store I worked for my father at his Chevy store in Eldersburg as a General Manager for 10 years straight out of college where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. We opened the store on April 15, 2003. I guess you could say that I wear many hats here. I not only handle and oversee all sales of motorcycles, trailers and used vehicles, but in July of 2004 I became MSD Certified. Since certification I also work on motorcycles. Anything from a complete motor job to a simple service or tire change. I truely enjoy what I do and I pride myself on being able to make my customers confident and comfortable in their purchases. I strongly encourage test rides - the Victory Motorcycles speaks for itself. Feel free to stop in and I would be glad to answer any questions you may have about the product we sell and service. RIDE!
Amy Barnes -- Office Manager/Mother Hen. I graduated From Towson State University in 1994 with a Degree in General Education. Prior to opening the store I worked in Daycare Management for 10 years. So needless to say this was a major switch for me. That is where I earned the name "Mother Hen" I tell the guys I feel like this is adult daycare making sure on a daily basis everyone is getting along and doing what they are supposed to be doing. I handle the daily accounting operations of the store as well as help organize and coordinate "things" for the shows. It is a tough job keeping these guys organized and to have them clean up after themselves but somebody's got to do it - and since I am married to the boss I was elected best fit for the job.
