I picked this bike up from my local dealer on April 20, 2012. I rode it home with a big smile on my face even though it was raining.
The motor has power and character in spades, the 6 speed gearbox is a peach, the handling although firm is well controlled and precise.
I've had a Suzuki M800 which was good for the money and a Yamaha XV1900 and many other bikes of different styles, but this bike is in a different league.
Because of my height I need to change the footpeg supports because for some reason the 8Ball has them 2" back from the Hammer S position. I am also putting dragbars on because it is no fun hanging on at highway speeds with arms bent at around 90 degrees.
I will also change the exhausts for chrome ones because I prefer the look. These points are personal to me, but I cannot fault the bike otherwise and I would certainly look again at the Victory brand when it comes to time to change.
Upgrades/Accessories: Hammer S footpeg supports and dragbars waiting to be collected. Chrome exhausts to follow soon.
