WOW! The Cross Roads is an amazing bike. It's well balanced with a low center of gravity and actually handles better than my previous bike (Yamaha FRJ1300), minus the cornering clearance of course.
I'm using a Cee Bailey 19" windshield with built in lowers for excellent wind management. No need for Victory's expensive lower wind deflectors. I'll just add the $99 highway bar close-outs for cold weather riding.
My only major complaint so far is that Victory's accessories are incredibly expensive - you'd think they dip everything in gold. And I thought H-D parts were pricey. Seriously, be ready for sticker shock when/if you add any extras.
The tranny shifts extremely well, better than my Yamaha in fact, but sounds like you're banging a couple of rocks together. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far and will write another review after getting some substantial mileage on it. By the way, this bike is huge and so are the hard bags.
Upgrades/Accessories: Hard bags, tubular highway bars, Cee Bailey 19" windshield w/ built in lowers.
